  • Hope for Kids, Atlanta, GA has received $10,000 from the UPS Foundation to expand its child development programs.
  • Charlie Gaddy, author and long-time news anchor with WRAL-TV, has been named Children’s Ambassador for the Methodist Home for Children, Raleigh, NC. Mr. Gaddy will serve as the spokesman for the Home’s $6 million capital campaign.

  • University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce received a gift of real-time financial data and information services from Bridge Information Systems. The gift, valued at $7.3 million will be used to create a new hi-tech financial center for the school.
