  • Special Olympics North Carolina, Raleigh, NC announces the addition of six new members to its board. New members are: Walt Curl, Winston-Salem, orthopedic surgeon and professor at Wake Forest School of Medicine, Joseph Freddoso, Raleigh, external affairs director for Cisco Systems, Sally Hunter, Raleigh, management consultant with NC State Office of Budget Management, Leslie O’Toole, Raleigh, attorney, Smith Helms Mulliss & Moore, Charles Parnell, Lexington, recreation director for Davidson County, Mike Teem, Wake Forest, lieutenant with the Raleigh Police Department. Board members serve three year terms.
