Family planning online – White House, Packard launch site

The David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the White House have launched a Web site intended to offer news resources to reporters covering international family planning, population, safe motherhood, reproductive health and the environment.

The site,, is the first in a larger Internet project that will be unveiled this summer as part of a national educational campaign on family planning.

The site includes audio and visual materials, links to experts and sources, facts and figures, and ongoing news coverage, as well as links to leading organizations in the field.
