TechSoup’s on – Resources available online

 |

CompuMentor has launched TechSoup, a Web “portal” site that aims to be a clearinghouse for nonprofits’ tech help needs

TechSoup offers resources for nonprofits with tech needs ranging from acquiring hardware and software to planning and training.

The site also features links to hundreds of groups that provide tech assistance, including HandsNet, Impact Online and NPower.

The site’s May 9 launch featured a host of high-tech and philanthropic leaders, including Eric Schmidt, chairman and CEO of Novell Inc., and Edward Skloot, executive director of the Surdna Foundation.
