The D. Michael Warner Foundation is now accepting applications for its fall 2000 grant cycle.

The foundation supports projects that aim to improve the economic circumstances of disadvantaged individuals or communities, or to improve race relations. Grants range from $5,000 to $40,000 and go to both new and ongoing programs.

Two information sessions will be held. The first will take place on Thursday, July 20 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Greensboro Public Library. The second will be held on Friday, July 21 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Rocky Mount. Reservations are required.

The sessions will cover the foundation’s funding priorities, basic guidelines for the application process, and suggestions for improving applications.

The deadline for the fall cycle is August 15, 2000. For application forms or to register for an information session, call 919-383-4367 or e-mail info@dmwf.org.
