Playing with Tiger – Event raises $12M total

 |

An anonymous donor bid $1.7 million at a charity auction to play a round of golf with Tiger Woods, Reuters reported July 12.

The high bidder will join Woods and former British Open and U.S. Masters champion Mark O’Meara for 18 holes later this year in Florida.

The auction was held after a two-day charity pro-amateur tournament in Ireland. The event is believed to have raised up to $12.04 million to local charities.
