Disclosure deadline – First of several forms released

The political nonprofit groups known as 527’s have until the end of July to file paperwork with the government, the Associated Press reported July 13.

The groups, which are named after the section of tax code that governs them, will have to reveal donor names, size of donations and expenditures for the first time.

The Internal Revenue Service released the first of several forms the groups will have to submit for public inspection on July 12.
