Urban League scholarships – Campaign for African American Achievement

The National Urban League will give nearly $2 million in college scholarships this year as part of its Campaign for African American Achievement Scholarship Program.

The league will fund scholarships for 184 students with grants from the Lilly Endowment Inc., Freddie Mac and Reginald Brack, Jr.

Students who receive scholarships from the Lilly Endowment and Reginald Brack, Jr. programs will receive $10,000 over four years. Students who receive Freddie Mac awards will get $5,000 a year for two years.

The Campaign for African American Achievement is a collaboration between the league, the Congress of National Black Churches and more than 20 other black organizations.
