Money through music – New fundraising program

 |
Djangos.com, an online retailer of second-hand music and movies, has started a new program that allows nonprofits to raise money by collecting new CDs, DVDs, and VHS videotapes.

Under the Disc Drive program, Djangos will buy all of the music and movies that a nonprofit is able to collect. In the case of a corporate charity drive, Djangos will send a check to the corporation to benefit its chosen nonprofit. The company typically pays between $1.50 and $4.00 for used music and movies.

Disc Drive participants can raise more money by encouraging their members to shop through Djangos – customers can direct a ten percent commission on their purchases to the nonprofit of their choice.
