The $600 million-asset Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust in Winston-Salem has made several staff changes.
Joyce T. Adger, a long-time Wachovia executive, has been named director of the foundation’s Poor and Needy Division, which awards grants totaling roughly $6 million a year.
Adger succeeds E. Ray Cope, the foundation’s president, who has doubled as the division’s director.
She has worked at Wachovia since 1977, most recently as a senior vice president and manager of the North Carolina charitable funds management department of the bank’s asset and wealth management division.
The foundation also has named Sara C. Smith, a program officer for its Poor and Needy Division, as program officer for its Health Care Division. The division awards grants totaling about $19 million a year.
