Politics online – Seventh edition posted

 |

California voters have a new nonpartisan election guide at their fingertips.

The California Voter Foundation launched the 7th edition of the California Online Voter Guide Sept. 28.

Traffic to the information site has increased in popularity each year, with traffic doubling with every election since the guide debuted online in 1994.

The latest edition covers 162 state and federal contests in California, including the U.S. Senate race, the presidential election, 52 U.S. House contests and state legislative races.

The guide features contact information for all campaigns, candidate Web sites and information on state propositions and will be updated regularly.

More than 70 percent of California’s state and federal campaigns have responded to the California Voter Foundation’s request for campaign information.
