Endowed orchestra – Focus on reaching out

 |

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has completed a three-year, $40 million endowment campaign.

The drive ended on schedule and topped its goal by approximately $500,000.

Led by Jere Drummond, vice chairman of BellSouth, the campaign boosted the orchestra’s endowment to more than $76 million.

The orchestra will use the endowment to expand its outreach and community programs, develop future performances and create an education department to teach young people about the arts.
