Policy chief – Connecting nonprofits

 |

Gita Gulati-Partee, a former program officer for the Cleveland Foundation, has been named a program director for the N.C. Center for Nonprofits.

The Greenville native and Duke University graduate, who has a master’s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, will oversee public policy and government relations for the statewide membership group.

Gulati-Partee says a big focus of her job will be working with nonprofits to strengthen the role they play in helping to shape public policy.

She succeeds Kate McGuire, who returned to Maryland with her husband and two young children to be nearer to their families.
