Targeting health – Federal grant

Efforts by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to increase the number of minority and disadvantaged students pursuing health careers have received a boost, thanks to a five-year, $2.36 million grant from the federal Bureau of Health Professions.

The program includes summer programs for rising high school and college seniors and for college graduates.
