Black giving – More donors

The African American Leadership Initiative of the Triangle United Way raised $111,656 from 106 donors in its second year, up from $77,818 from 85 donors in its inaugural year.

Co-chairs of the William and Josephine Clement Society are Charles Blackmon, senior vice president at North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Co., and Betty Blackmon, a consultant at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.
