Creative problem-solving in government will be the focus of a new institute at Harvard created by a $50 million grant from the Ford Foundation, The Boston Globe reported April 5.

The gift to create the Institute for Government Innovation at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, is the largest ever for the school or for Ford.

The new institute builds on the Innovations in American Government Program that the Kennedy School has administered since Ford started the program in 1986.
