- The Capital Area Preservation (CAP)will host its Fall 2001 Landmarks Tour “A Wake Forest Sampler” on Saturday, November 3, 2001, from 10am-4pm in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The tour will feature seven historic sites in the Wake Forest area. All proceeds will support CAP’s preservation activities in Wake County, North Carolina. - The Center for Entrepreneurial Development unveiled its “Innovation to Impact” strategic initiative, a five-year plan to bring together key elements of entrepreneurial relationships on October 8, 2001, at the Carolina Club, in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
- The EnergyUnited Foundation presented a check for $10,000 to the American Red Cross on October 5, 2001, to assist in the rescue and recovery efforts undertaken in New York and to assist the families of the terrorist victims.
- The Salvation Army of Raleigh, along with several other organizations, will conduct free workshops on October 30, 2001, at the North Ridge Country Club.
