Stewards Fund names manager

 |

RALEIGH, N.C. — Anna Neal Blanchard, former development director for Building Together Ministries in Raleigh, has been named general manager for the Stewards Fund in Raleigh.

The $39 million-asset family foundation, which focuses on basic human needs, made more than $2 million in grants in 2001, up roughly $600,000 from the previous year.

The foundation’s assets grew to nearly $30 million in 2000 from nearly $5.3 million a year earlier, mainly because it received one-third of the assets of the $70 million-asset Kathleen Price Bryan Family Fund in Greensboro when that foundation dissolved itself.
