Summit eyes homelessness

RALEIGH, N.C. – Developing a plan to end homelessness in North Carolina will be the focus of the first statewide summit on homelessness May 31, 2002, at the Jane S. McKimmon Center in Raleigh.

Hosted by the North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness, the summit will include government workers and officials, and homeless service providers and advocates.

The luncheon keynote speaker will be Philip Mangano, recently named executive director of the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness by President Bush.
