Training in works for loaned execs

 |

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The United Way of Greater High Point is teaming up with Farr Associates, an organizational consulting firm, to develop and offer a four-day leadership-training workshop for individuals participating in the United Way’s loaned executive program.

The United Way hopes to double the number of loaned executives in this fall’s annual fundraising drive to 60 from 30.

Loaned executives each year contribute more than 2,500 volunteer hours to the United Way of Greater High Point, while continuing to receive compensation from their employers.

To volunteer as or sponsor a loaned executive for this year’s campaign, call Patty Mead at the United Way at 336-883-1077.
