Nonprofit classes on tap

DURHAM, N.C. — Students enrolled in the Certificate Program in Nonprofit Management at Duke University now can take as many course hours per term as they wish to complete the 50 hours required to earn a certificate.

Program coordinators made the change after receiving requests from participants who wanted to complete more hours per term than the 16 previously allowed.

Registration for the program is open year-round and available to staff or volunteers for nonprofits, service and religious organizations, schools, foundations or government agencies.
