Burnout, ethics on agenda

Burnout and ethics will be the themes of fundraising professionals’ February meetings in Charlotte and the Triangle

At the Feb. 19 meeting of the Charlotte chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Shirley Robinson, director of development for the Raleigh-based N.C. Rural Economic Development Center, will talk about how to avoid burnout.

At the Feb. 20 breakfast meeting of AFP’s Triangle chapter, Lloyd V. Hackley chair-emeritus of the Coalition Leadership Council of Character Counts and former president of the N.C. Community College System, will talk about ethics and character development in fundraising.
