Awards seek nominations

Two nonprofit groups are seeking nominations for two prizes to be awarded in 2004.

The Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize, at $1 million the world’s largest humanitarian award, will go to a group that has made extraordinary contributions to alleviate human suffering in the world.

The $100,000 Charles Bronfman Prize recognizes an individual whose work for others enriches Jewish life.

The nomination period for both prizes ends in the fall.
