Media message eyed

 |

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Getting stories about nonprofits and corporate community involvement into the media will be the focus of a panel Sept. 18 sponsored by the Volunteer Center of Greensboro.

The panel, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at American Express at 7701 Airport Center Drive, will feature representatives of The Business Journal, News & Record, WFMY News 2, WMAG FM, Fox 8, Clear Channel Radio and Quixote Group.

The session is an offshoot of Corporate Volunteer Connection, an informal employer group that aims to involve employees in community work.

“The idea of the panel is to do good and get noticed for it,” says Molly Keeney, the center’s executive director.
