Craig Hospital Englewood, Colo. Since 1956, Craig Hospital has been a premier center for specialty rehabilitation and research for people with spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury.  A private, not-for-profit hospital, we offer a comprehensive system of inpatient and outpatient medical care and family support services.

Foundations Inc. Moorestown, N.J. Foundations Inc. is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that provides professional development products and services to improve the quality of education for disadvantaged children and youth across the country. Foundations works with schools, school districts, community organizations, afterschool networks and afterschool programs to help children succeed in school and beyond.

Swords to Plowshares, Inc. San Francisco, Calif. We provide drop-in mental-health services, drug and alcohol and post-traumatic stress disorders counseling, case management and referrals. Programs targets homeless and low-income veterans.  Last year, the Health and Social Services Unit served over 1,000 veterans in need. Financial assistance was provided to 206 veterans who were homeless or at-risk for homelessness.  

Family Health Partnership Clinic McHenry County, Ill. Family Health Partnership Clinic provides quality health care including primary, preventative and mental-health services to the people of McHenry County, Ill.  We serve individuals who are uninsured and underinsured and our services are provided to all regardless of economic status.  We provide care through the volunteer efforts of 19 local physicians.  

Alviogut International Foundation Vienna, Austria We are a Humanitarian Cultural Foundation. Our projects focus on homeless elderly and street children in Romania. We host a Medieval Dracula Tour of Transylvania, and an International Folk Music Festival. We believe exchanging information within cultures is vital to our global society and to lasting solutions for impoverished people.  

Alliance for Language Learning, Inc. Troy, N.C. Alliance for Language Learning Inc. developed VISION 2010: a Model Foreign Language Program for the Public Schools of North Carolina and provides guidance in implementing K-12 sequential foreign language programs, professional development for teachers and administrators, and resources for parents, foreign language educators, members of the business community, and others.  

The Gideon Center for Men Daytona Beach, Fla. A program of Family Crisis Help Center Inc., this  transitional program for men released from prison offers an intensive and structured treatment program, substance abuse awareness, individual and group therapy, anger management-individual and group, life-skills management, financial education, employment assistance, family counseling, case management, and transportation services.  

One Dozen Who Care Inc. Andrews, N.C. One Dozen Who Care Inc. exists to strengthen leadership among local women and youth and create strong community bonds through common cultural situations in Far Western North Carolina by building bridges between races, developing and strengthening leadership and entrepreneurship, and preserving African American culture.  

ACES, Association for Children for Enforcement of Support Inc. Fredericksburg, Va. ACES offers a toll free, national child support hot line, free child support information booklets, one-on-one mentoring and leadership workshops for victims of the non-payment of child support. Asset Builders Community Development Corporation Chicago, Ill. Asset Builders strives to improve the financial lives of low-wealth individuals by providing access to Individual Development Accounts. Participants save dollars each month and then earn at least $1 for every $1 they save. Matched money is used to buy a home, start a business or for post-secondary education. 312-322-3000
