Building community and assets will be the focus of the Neighborhood Funders Group’s 2006 annual conference in Durham, N.C., this fall.
The conference, titled “Building Community, Building Assets: Race, Place and Equity,” will be held Sept. 11-13 at the Millennium Hotel.
Funders from throughout the U.S. will gather to discuss how to help create strong, stable communities that celebrate diversity.
The program also will address the impact and success of asset-building strategies and programs aimed at low- and moderate-income families.
