Convio’s second-quarter revenue grew 60 percent over the same period a year earlier, driven primarily by customer acquisition, the company says.
The Austin-based provider of software and consulting services for nonprofits gained more new customers in the second quarter of 2006 than in any other quarter in its history, it says.
Among other clients signed during the second quarter were the Sierra Club, America’s Second Harvest and the United Negro College Fund.
Growth in consulting services to an increasing number of current clients, 600 of whom use the company’s online constituent relationship management tool, also contributed to the sales jump.
Also during the second quarter, Convio signed a partnership agreement with Heller Consulting, which provides nonprofits with independent consulting services for Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge donor database product.
