The More Than Money Institute will close its doors, using its assets to establish the Money and Values program at Naropa University in Boulder, Colo.
Established in 2002, the institute works to help individuals align their wealth, and how it is used, with their values.
More than Money plans to transfer most of its assets to Naropa’s Marpa Center for Business and Economics to create the new program.
“The board has decided that the best way to further develop and disseminate our mission is to support other organizations in an expansion of their work on similar issues,” Bob Kenney, the institute’s director, said in a statement.
The institute’s More Than Money Magazine will archived and available to the public through the Project on Civic Reflection.
The Center for Courage and Renewal will work with the Marpa Center to create and offer retreats focusing on money and values.
