Cosmetics executive and philanthropist Evelyn H. Lauder was chosen to receive the 10th annual Philanthropic Innovator Luminary Award from the Committee of 200.

The Committee of 200, a membership organization of women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders, presented the award to Lauder at its annual conference Oct. 13 in recognition of her contributions to the fight against breast cancer.

Lauder is the founder of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and serves as senior corporate vice president of Estée Lauder Companies.

Her foundation has raised $144 million for the cause since 1993 and plans to award $24.3 million in grants to 115 researchers worldwide this month.
