UNC B-school gets $1 million from RBC Centura

 |

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School received a $1 million pledge from RBC Centura for its Leadership Initiative, a program that helps students develop leadership skills in order to integrate classroom learning with real-world experiences.

The program, in its second year of operation, is set to expand with the help of the RBC Centura gift.

Nearly half the school’s MBA students participated in the program during the 2006 spring semester, working to expand their skills through workshops, individual coaching, role-play and consulting projects.

Scott Custer is the CEO of RBC Centura.
