Cahill returns to Carnegie

 |

The Carnegie Corporation announced that Michele Cahill will return as the funder’s vice president in charge of national program coordination and urban education.

After three years with the Corporation, Cahill left for the New York City Department of Education in 2002.

When she rejoins the Corporation in January, Cahill will be charged with overseeing strategies emphasizing domestic priorities, particularly urban education.

Corporation president Vartan Gregorian credited Cahill with engineering the organization’s urban school reform during her previous service.
