GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Triad Health Project’s 15th annual Winter Walk for AIDS surpassed its $100,000 goal, raising a total of $109,000.

The Dec. 3 event, scheduled to coincide with the week of World AIDS Day, drew 2,500 participants in support of the Project’s mission to help Triad residents affected by HIV/AIDS.

The money raised will go toward the agency’s education, prevention and assistance programs benefiting 1,500 affected Guilford County residents.
