Fujitsu gives $13 million to hospice

Fujitsu will award a total of $13 million in products to U.S. hospice agencies as part of a $30 million technology grant program.

The software company will distribute computers, servers, video conferencing equipment and security technologies to 15 hospice providers as well as the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, which will receive $800,000 in equipment and support services.

The gifts also include state-of-the-art equipment that will enable the recipients to set higher standards of care for the nation’s growing elderly population.
