Junior Achievement and HSBC partner to teach youth.

* Junior Achievement of Central North Carolina, Greensboro, partnering with financial services firm HSBC-North America to teach “economies of life” to local students; five volunteers from HSBC to teach about 140 students in Greensboro, Highpoint, Asheboro this year.

* Jenny Spiker, communications and membership director, leaving N.C. Center for Nonprofits after nearly three years.

* Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association named new board members; Amy Jelovsek, human resources manager, Arysta LifeScience North America, named president and Janny Flynt, workforce development coordinator, Wake County Human Services, named president-elect.

* Kim Riggi, former director of major gifts, Fairmont State University Foundation, Fairmont, W.Va., named senior director of campaigns and development, Queens University of Charlotte.
