Nonprofit and government grantwriters will have the opportunity to learn more about all facets of the grantwriting process at a seminar in Cary June 20 and 21.
Presented by the Grants Information Network of North Carolina and the Wake Tech Business & Industry Center, the workshop aims to help attendees better understand a variety of topics, including available funding sources and the differences between block and discretionary grants.
The session also will cover how to create an effective problem statement, including the development of realistic objectives and an evaluation plan.
The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the campus of Western Wake Tech at Millpond Village in Cary.
The $55 registration fee does not include lunch or refreshments. Registration applications can be downloaded from the Grants Information Network website.
