Sustainability networking group forms

 |

Triangle-area business people who are interested in business practices that promote environmental sustainability will have the chance to network with likeminded people when the Sustainability Café launches this month.

The Café’s monthly meetings are sponsored by the North Carolina Sustainable Business Council and are open to members and their guests.

Topics will include a presentation on a specific topic, such as how companies are addressing issues such as climate change and social responsibility, followed by conversation and networking.

The group’s first event, hosted by Cherokee Investment Partners, will take place June 26 and focus on “Incorporating Sustainability Into Your Brand.”

The meeting will be at Cherokee’s main conference room at 111 E. Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Refreshments will be served.
