Volunteers seeking community project

 |

RALEIGH, N.C. — A group of 30 volunteers is looking for one deserving school or nonprofit to benefit from seven hours of their donated time on July 25.

Cisco’s Raleigh location is partnering with City Year, a Columbia, S.C.- member of the AmeriCorps network, to give back to the community through volunteer time.

Eligible groups must be public schools or nonpartisan nonprofit organizations located in Wake County.

City Year is looking for what it calls “transformative” projects, like painting murals, planting gardens or stocking food pantries.

Interested groups must apply by July 9 to Will Bigger at City Year by calling 803.254.3349 or emailing wbigger@cityyear.org.
