Legal community renovates park

 |

RALEIGH, N.C. – Almost 80 members of the Triangle’s legal community gathered earlier this month to renovate Raleigh Lion’s Park.

The inaugural Service Juris Day drew judges, lawyers, paralegals, law students and other in the field to paint, clean and spruce up the park’s indoor and outdoor play areas.

The event was organized by Triangle Impact, a nonprofit that coordinates hands-on volunteer opportunities for busy residents, and was sponsored by local law firms.

Members of the legal community served on the steering committee for Juris Day, which organizers aim to make an annual event.
