RALEIGH, N.C. – North Carolina donors are invited to participate in a one-day community forum on collective giving in Raleigh Sept. 20.
The Fall Collective Giving Forum, sponsored by NCGives, will focus on “Maximizing Our Collective Intellectual and Financial Capital” and feature sessions by experts in giving by women, minorities and youth.
Speakers include Beth Briggs of Creative Philanthropy, Darryl Lester of Hindsight Consulting and Eric Rowles of Leading To Change.
Attendees will be able to network with other givers, share lessons learned from different giving networks and discuss who is invited to and excluded from traditional giving networks.
The forum will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the YMCA of Wake County in downtown Raleigh.
