Nominate your nonprofit’s volunteer hero

 |

Every day, volunteers change lives and improve our communities, but they rarely receive the recognition they deserve.

To celebrate unsung volunteers, please nominate a volunteer hero from your nonprofit — someone whose unselfish deeds have made a difference for others.

Send us a photo and 50-word explanation of your volunteer hero by Nov. 5 and your nonprofit could win $100.

PJ will announce the winner in a special report on volunteers and boards we will publish Nov. 28. We also will feature the winner on our website and in our email newsletter, and will donate $100 to the winning volunteer’s charity.

And we will feature a selection of other heroes in a slideshow on our site.

Please send us an email that includes a photo of your nominee, a 50-word description of why he or she is a volunteer hero, and the name and address of your organization.

To enter, you must be a subscriber to one of our free eNewsletters. If you are not a current subscriber, please click here to register.
