Arts & Science Council board of directors approved release of more funds from $900,000 restricted operating grant to Charlotte Symphony based on first phase of symphony’s business plan. Council will release $150,000 in September and $75,000 in October, November and December. Remaining $375,000 to be distributed in January if symphony has met bridge funding goals for fiscal 2010.
