Ireland launches women’s fund

The president of Ireland launched a new fund that will address problems of women and girls, with an initial gift of 100,000 Irish pounds, or nearly $172,000, from the community foundation of Ireland and a goal of raising 1 million Irish pounds, or $1.72 million, Irish Times reported April 15 (see Irish women’s fund story).
