DHIC gets $475,000, Panthers give TVs, arts council gives $530,000

DHIC, Raleigh, awarded $475,000 grant from NeighborWorks America; will use funds for  $1 million renovation of Murphey School, featuring 52 affordable apartments for seniors; City of Raleigh committed $480,000 grant to project.


Carolina Panthers donating 175 televisions and eight touch-screen kiosks valued at over $10,000 to Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont that were used throughout Bank of America Stadium and by team’s coaching staff.


United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro investing total of $530,000 in cultural partner grants in 21 arts programs.
