Aug. 24: DHIC, Dixon Hughes, arts council, and more

DHIC will receive $870,000 tax-credit allocation to redevelop historically significant Water Garden property in Raleigh.


Dixon Hughes accounting firm giving $250,000 over five years to master of accounting program, Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill over five years.


United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County awarded $245,481 from N.C. Arts Council for Arts in Education, Regional Artists Projects, and Grassroots Arts Program.


Wachovia Foundation investing $100,000 in initiative of Urban League North Carolina to train executives and managers who are unemployed as result of downsizing and company closings.
