Sept. 13: Oklahoma State, Knight, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and more

Donald Humphreys, senior executive, Exxon Mobil Corp., and wife Cathey Humphreys donated $6 million to support study-abroad program, School of International Studies, Oklahoma State University.


John S. and James L. Knight Foundation awarded $3.14 million in matching grants to 19 locally-focused foundations to support local news and information projects to help ensure communities are informed on key issues.


Allison & Partners has taken on Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as its national pro-bono client for 2010-11, donating $150,000 worth of integrated branding, media relations and social media services to support the nonprofit’s new national branding campaign.
