Mary Kay Foundation awarded $3 million to 150 domestic violence shelters throughout U.S.


Over 7,000 North Texans gave over $5 million in 12 hours, including $750,000 in matching funds and prizes, through donorbridgetx.org to roughly 500 organizations in region.


UPS Foundation and World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts announced five-year, $2 million commitment that supports young women to become advocates and leaders on issues such as environmental sustainability, Millennium Development Goals and community development.


Dell has committed itself to give $10 million in cash and Dell technology for education technology initiatives in 2011.


Corporation for National and Community Service awarded $5.4 million in Youth Engagement Zone grants to improve academic and civic engagement for students in high-poverty communities.
