Sept. 28: UNC-CH, Easter Seals UCP, UNC Family House, and more

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill raised over $11 million for new $125 million fundraising campaign supporting plan to bring power of innovation and entrepreneurship to bear on world’s biggest problems.


Easter Seals UCP raised over $123,000 and attracted 195 cyclists at 4th annual Ride Without Limits, two-day cycling event across central North Carolina.


SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals’ annual gala, “Home and Away” House Party, raised $160,000.


Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County received $20,000 grant from Anne Hanes Willis Fund, Winston-Salem Foundation, for landscaping for Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts.


Greensboro Urban Ministry’s Grocery Store Food Drive, coordinated for 32st time by Leadership Greensboro Seniors, collected 66,688 pounds of food, enough to serve another 8,000 or more needy families.
