Dana-Farber Cancer Institute raised $1.18 billion in its biggest capital campaign ever, exceeding goal by $180 million.


Johns Hopkins Center for Civil Society Studies received $150,000 from W.K. Kellogg Foundation for its New Frontiers of Philanthropy Project that aims to provide financing solutions for world’s social and environmental problems.


CVS/pharmacy’s ninth annual in-store fundraising campaign to support fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) brought in $4.1 million, to be donated to Boston-based ALS Therapy Alliance to support funding of new clinical research.


Genesee County Parks & Recreation Commission received $1.27 million grant from Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
