SciWorks, Greensboro, received $10,000 grant from Time Warner Cable to support series of programs to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics.


Moses Cone Health System today received $80,000 grant from Bank of America Charitable Foundation to support HealthServe Community Health Clinic, providing medical care to more patients in Guilford County.


North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation awarded $70,000 grant to Fayetteville Technical Community College for project to assist soldiers and veterans in using their military education and experience to gain degrees in health sector.


United Way of the Greater Triangle’s Teaming for Technology program received grant from IBM of 15 “Young Explorer” learning centers, to be donated to United Way partner agency Learning Together in Raleigh and to Operation Breakthrough in Durham.
