Dec. 6: Colonial Williamsburg, mGive, Indiana University, and more

Michael Rierson. vice chancellor of university advancement, University of Houston, who held development jobs at Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill, University of Miami and University of South Florida, named senior vice president for development, The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, effective Jan. 1, 2011.


mGive Foundation in its first year processed 85 percent of all mobile donations made in U.S., partnering with 60 carriers to support 7,000 mobile-giving campaigns for over 500 nonprofit clients.


Board of directors, Indiana University Foundation, convened university’s first Women’s Philanthropy Council, with mission of leading fundraising and engagement efforts that inspire women to give time, talent and resources to university and develop women leaders in philanthropy.
